The Triumph of Bacchus is a series of quilted artworks inspired by the fantasy art of Hieronymous Bosh, Henry Darger, and Shiger Miyamoto (the creator of Super Mario Brothers and The Legend of Zelda). Candy-coloured icons are combined into a landscape alternating between Paradise and Dystopia. At the centre of the chaos is the god Bacchus, whose quest for pleasure and self-fulfilment upsets the careful balance of the world, sending it spiralling into
