RECLAIM is a new body of work by Caitlin Flood-Molyneux exploring the act of taking back the parts of life that can come to define us. Fear, grief, mental health and memory become starting points for exploring the experiences that shape our sense of self.

Through painting and drawing, Flood-Molyneux returns to familiar imagery and recurring personal symbols, confronting them from a different place. A place of acceptance, strength and a growing sense of control over the experiences that once felt overwhelming. These symbols weave throughout the work, becoming a way of revisiting the past and finding new meaning in what was once difficult to confront.

Rather than attempting to erase or resolve the past, RECLAIM is about changing the relationship we have with it. Taking ownership of the experiences that once held power over us and allowing them to become sources of strength, understanding and acceptance.

A reclamation of fear. Of memory. Of identity. Of the parts of ourselves we thought we'd lost.
